Important Notice regarding ASA Registration Fees

In March 2010 the Club is required to pay registration fees to the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) to ensure swimmers and helpers are insured and to allow swimmers to compete in galas. There is a requirement for all swimmers, coaches and helpers to be registered. This year the Committee has again decided to collect this ASA registration fee separately to the annual fees, to ensure that only swimmers who wish to remain in the Club in 2010/11 are registered. If your son/daughter is not registered with the ASA they will not be insured and therefore will not be allowed to either train with the Club or compete after 31st March 2010.  A slip is attached to this document, requesting payment to cover the ASA registration fee, to be received by the Club no later than 28th February 2010, to ensure that we have sufficient time to register all swimmers before the deadline of 31st March 2010. Registration fees for coaches and helpers will be paid by the Club.

Costs for ASA registration will be as follows:

Category 1 (Insured to train with the Club and compete in club galas) - £12.50 (unchanged from last year)
Category 2 (Insured to train and compete in all galas, including Opens, County, Regionals and Nationals) - £27.00 (increase of 50p from last year)
