Matthew Dean achieved a joint 2nd finish in the Novice-1 event, with Joshua Curlew coming in behind in joint 3rd – 2 places higher than last year. Well done boys, great work!
Two 1st place finishes in the Novice-2 events. For the girls, Jess Greenwood and for the boys, Leo McLennan. Great performances from both of them and well-deserved podium finishes.
Chloe Greenwood stepped up this year and competed in the TriStar1 event, she did really well gaining a 6th place finish and recording the fastest swim in the group. Benjamin Ryan also stepped up, taking part in the TriStar2 event, which he finished mid-table. In events that are part of the South East Juinor qualifying series, this is an amazing performance. Well done to both Chloe and Benjamin!
Lottie McLennan and Isaac Lancaster also did really well in the tough field, finishing in a respectable mid-table position. Last but not least, Joseph Lancaster, competed in the Youth race and after falling off his bike completed the bike leg with the back wheel of his bike hanging off!! Still smiling and claiming to have enjoyed the experience.
