Last Sunday Simon Taylor the President of Sussex ASA visited EGSC to present awards to some of our aspiring swimmers. The awards were attained at last February’s County Championships but due to the position that all swim clubs have found themselves this year, this was the first opportunity to safely hold a socially distanced ceremony. It was worth the wait.
Joseph O’Neill, club captain, was honoured to receive the Anslow Cup for the 400 metres freestyle.
Congratulations go to Elias Clench, Chloe Greenwood, Ethan Ross and Emma Tindale who have been chosen to swim on the Sussex pathway. May 2021 mean lots more swimming and lots more progression. We are very proud of you!
